About Us

Established in Nottingham (UK) during 1947 Rowes moved to Ilkeston (Derbyshire) some 20 years later.

The business built a fine reputation supporting its Diesel Engine, Marine and Automotive Customers offering a sub-contract machining service; predominately precision turned components.

The acquisition of established sub-contract company Buxton Hayes was completed in 2004 (now Rowes - Kingswinford), a program of significant capital investment and business process development soon followed.

The Kingswinford site today has state of the art CNC facilities and a broad range of expanding multi industry customers, predominately within the UK and Europe.

Although the company's business processes were developed to meet the stringent demands of the Automotive supply chain the company today serve a wide range of industries and specialise more in medium to low volume sub-contract products.

Today the company is well established, diverse and responsive able to serve the changing needs of the global 21st century serious players. The company is not only a supplier of precision turned products but also fully machined components utilising CNC Machining Centres with 4th Axis.

Rowes employees are highly skilled and competent with 'medium size company mentalities' and 'small company flexibility'.
